Answer with your actions.

It’s easy to speak about your goals. To endlessly wax on about what you want that you don’t have, about what you need to do to get there, and about what, internally and externally, is standing in your way. I’m doing it right now.

Mindfulness is important, don’t get me wrong. Journaling, meditation, and deep thought are all virtues that I very much still value and intend on continuing to pursue.

But they’re not answers.

When there’s a big question that haunts or inspires you in life, the only answers that matter are the steps you take towards that future, not the thoughts you think about it.

And the critical distinction here is knowing that, even if you’ve thought about something for years, from every possible angle you can see, you haven’t actually started solving anything until you start executing on your battle plans and seeing if they survive contact with the enemy.

Life is both too long and too short to go through it not knowing.

In 2025, what I want more than anything, is to start answering with my actions.
